We are hiring a remote R Developer for our Clinical FSP division to work alongside a prestigous pharmaceutical company.

Your Impact

In addition to having worked as a Statistical Programmer you will also have R / R Shiny experience, you will work in the Global Biometrics & Data Sciences group, leveraging your background applying software engineering principals, to develop applications and tools in support of data visualization and reporting, including the use of R Shiny as the reporting layer, and R and/or SAS for any pre-processing/data manipulation.  Ideally, you will have strong proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript using R Shiny as the web framework.

You will be involved in generating complex graphs used for statistical analysis and interpretation such as DAG (Directed Acyclic Diagrams) and Sankey plots, among others. In addition to development of new code, you will support and maintain standard R programs, which will comprise a library of code to be used for future development.

What You Offer

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a scientific discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc. Advanced degrees strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years experience with SAS ideally in a clinical research environment ideally with knowledge producing outputs as well as datasets
• Minimum 2 years of R / R Shiny with standard packages for data visualization and analysis in aid of clinical data review in the Pharmaceutical & Biotech industry
• Knowledge of SAS and SAS Macros and familiarity of CDISC data standards (ADaM / SDTM)
• Proficiency in ggplot2, plotly, dplyr, haven/readxl
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python a plus
• Knowledge and experience applying software engineering principals
• Must be capable of developing collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Must be self-motivated and have strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to present ideas, issues, and observations in a clear manner
