About Cytel and the EMEA Payroll and Compensation Lead
Cytel, the largest provider of statistical software and advanced analytics for clinical trial design and execution, is seeking an experienced, motivated, practical and solution-oriented Payroll and Compensation Analyst/Lead for Europe to join its People team. In this role, you will report to the Global Head of Total Reward with a dotted line to the Head of EMEA HR, and work closely with the EMEA HRBP and TA team as well as global HRIS and HR operations.

What you’ll do


Payroll leadership

  • executing payroll for 10 EMEA countries with an employee base of approximately 500 employees
  • be the principal point of contact for our current payroll providers
  • collaborate with EMEA HRBPs to ensure timely accurate payroll updates and data
  • control and approve payroll in collaboration with EMEA accounting
  • Work with regional and global HR leaders to implement any needed measures to ensure proper planning around payroll updates and processes in EMEA
  • Ensure full payroll reconciliation between our HR system and all payrolls are done in a timely manner
  • Provide input and advice on key considerations for global payroll operations improvement initiatives that will further simplify, streamline and automate our payroll operations globally and in Europe.


Compensation data management

  • support the Global Head of Total Reward with compensation data management including salary survey data management
  • provide EMEA Talent Acquisition and HRBPs with EMEA-relevant compensation data as needed. Over time, grow into providing partnership with EMEA business and HR on compensation topics (market pricing, etc.)


Who you are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in executing payroll in EMEA
  • You want to grow into new areas of HR like Total Reward and grow your HR career overall
  • You are proficient in English and ideally at least one other European language
  • You are comfortable with problem solving, planning skills and working with globally diverse teams
  • You are passionate about employee experience and you love to see people thrive in the workplace
  • You have great communication skills across cultures with an ability to build trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • You are well-organized and possess strong planning and prioritization skills; extremely high attention to detail
