We are seeking a senior business development professional to become Cytel's newest member of our high growth, faced paced and dynamic commercial team supporting the Real World and Advanced Analytics (RWAA) bsuiness with a focus on HEOR and Real World Evidence.

 

You will be highly experienced in developing new client relationships and business opportunities with a focus on Global HEOR consultancy and RWD offerings, developing account plans, driving high quality client-oriented presentations and proposals as well as collaborating with commercial operations, marketing, legal and business leadership to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.  You will also work closely with the RWAA business leaders, including frequent interactions with the Chief Data Officer and in addition to being a senior member of the RWAA Sales team, you will have the opportunity to participate in many relevant business unit discussions, shaping the business strategy as it relates to go-to-market approaches.

 

Your Impact

You are responsible for ensuring that Cytel’s vision and differentiated offering in the HEOR and RWE space are brought to life within your accounts consistently and with high quality bespoke client facing materials, ultimately driving the expansion of the organization’s client base.  Be the driving force in the development of not only our go-to-market strategies, but also the culture and values of the business development team. Through personal example, establish the style and approach that characterize the Company’s dealings with the HEOR, Market Access and RWD marketplace.

 

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of high-level business development experience with proven experience building, managing, and retaining a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
  • 3+ years of experience of either direct sales or leading teams of business development professionals focused on HEOR, Market Access and RWD.
  • A track record of developing sales plans including territory/account planning, sales projections, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with different internal teams; ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Experience with strategic partnership development and management
  • Proven experience managing complex contract negotiations.
  • The ability to lead new customer engagements with limited support.
  • University Degree (advanced degrees preferred)

 

Some Of Your Main Responsibilities And Deliverables Will Include

  • Managing the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Subject Matter Experts, Consultants, Executive Leadership, Marketing, Lead Generation etc.
  • Build market awareness and create new sales, successfully positioning the company’s strategy, vision, and market leadership with key business executives and functional decision-makers in all customers and prospects.
  • Contribute to  RWAA business unit discussions around go-to-market approaches
  • Organize and manage industry events and working groups to generate market interest
  • Remain current on relevant industry and internal company products, pricing, markets, plans and developments.
  • Seek and provide customer and market awareness to Cytel including presenting opportunities for evaluation that could expand the company’s market and product reach.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement selling Cytel HEOR and RWE products and services as well as potential custom software solutions
  • Maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation while being able to generate short term results
