The IT Business Analyst (internally known as Business Analyst) will maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role

Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security) as well as create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow

and approval processes.


Responsibilities include: 

  • Work closely with Systems Integrator in our global Oracle ERP Cloud service, Oracle EPM Cloud service, and Fusion Procurement Cloud Service implementations. Assist in requirements gathering, CRP, Testing, Issue resolution, etc.
  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security).
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow and approval processes.
  • Perform daily administration, maintenance and support of the systems including, but not limited to ongoing maintenance, back-ups, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations, and integrations.
  • Establish and implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
  • Educate users with proactive practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of the application.
  • Research changes in upcoming versions and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop relationships with business partners to support new development initiatives
  • Elicit program requirements through focused collaboration, meetings, conference calls
  • Define user requirements, use cases, workflows, processes in the form Epics, and User Stories, and formulate test plans and test cases supporting them.
  • Implement improvements and custom projects individually or by working with partners.
  • Actively work with partners to design and deliver solutions.
  • Manage database integrations to support operational reporting requirements including development of database structures, ETL packages, and APIs to support data integration needs.
  • Build reports using Microsoft Power BI


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud systems  (configuring and maintaining AP, AR, GL, Revenue recognition, Purchasing, Project, Contracts, Order entry, timesheets, reports)
  • 1-3 years experience with Oracle EPM Enterprise Cloud service
  • 1-3 years experience integrating Oracle Fusion with other applications like Salesforce, SuccessFactors
  • 3-5 years of Oracle ERP, EPM/Hyperion experience
  • Experience developing and working with application interfaces across systems
  • Ability to create workflow, define and implement business processes and provide detailed Reporting
  • Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements, epics, and user stories
  • Experience in Life Sciences or CRO Industry a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Experience developing database and ETL
  • Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
  • Experience working with system support teams at partners and vendors
  • Experience working within both a team environment and independently



  • Oracle Fusion ERP experience is a strong plus
  • Oracle ERP experience is required
  • SQL Server Development (Packages, Views, Tables, Stored Procedures)
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce is a plus
  • SAP Success Factors experience is a plus
  • SAP Cloud Platform Integration experience is a plus
  • Azure / Active Directory based SSO experience and integration with cloud systems is a plus
