This individual will be responsible for revenue growth within the Cytel’s RWAA group and will also work on BD efforts in selling RWAA services to clients. The role will also be a management position with cross-functional team management and future potential direct reports, so we are looking for someone who has leadership ability to continue growing Cytel’s successful RWAA team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic global and local market access projects:
  • Early product value assessments and competitive positioning
  • Strategic evidence generation plans and HTA activity planning
  • Critical assessment of clinical development plans from payer perspective
  • Advice on payer-relevant outcomes and activities
  • Organize and execute payer advisory boards and payer interviews (EU, Canada, USA, APAC)
  • Adept at crafting strategies to support the market access of new healthcare technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to navigate reimbursement and regulatory challenges.
  • Leading the implementation of cross-functional projects and strategies
  • Serve as the main client contact / client success officer to ensure Cytel delivers projects to client satisfaction
  • Proposal coordinating / writing and budgeting
  • Provide strategic consulting on HEOR / reimbursement topics
  • Responsible for business development and/or project execution leading to a client portfolio (in value and numbers) under direct management. This includes building and maintaining successful long-term relationships with clients, routinely identifying opportunities for follow on work, and managing project scope
  • Keep abreast of reimbursement and other industry requirements and guidelines, including via active participation in scientific conferences and symposia
  • Ensure company and business unit policies, standards, and procedures are met.

 

Skills

  • 5 years + HEOR/ Market Access experience at a biopharmaceutical company and / or vendor
  • Multiple payer submissions/ evidence generation experience, previous experience developing NICE submissions is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of payer / HTA requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • People and project management experience required
  • Business development / proposal writing experience preferred.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.Sc., or equivalent) in Health Economics, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years with a proven track record in pharma and consulting environment in roles including HEOR, Global Market Access, and strategic responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, payer landscapes, and reimbursement systems.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing people from multiple departments/ functions
  • Excellent communicator in professional written and verbal form in English or more EU-5 languages
