Research Principal, SLR

Join Cytel as a Research Principal and be part of a company driving innovation within Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). As a Research Principal, you will play a critical role in overseeing evidence synthesis projects with opportunities for managing people, project teams and client portfolios. Collaborating closely with Cytel's leadership team, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional services overseeing literature reviews using Cytel's cutting-edge products including LiveSLR® and LiveNMA®.

Key Responsibilities:

• With limited supervision, plan, and conduct projects, including more complex evidence synthesis literature reviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and ways of working by leading technical and methodological advancements in the field of specialism.
• Responsible for business development and/or project execution leading to a client portfolio under your direct management.
• Responsible for the management of sub-team members, including onboarding, mentoring, and training staff.
• Keep up to date with regulatory, reimbursement, and other industry requirements and guidelines, including via active participation in scientific conferences.
• Lead or participate in hiring and training consultants as requested.
• Ensure company and business unit policies, standards, and procedures are met.

Education, Professional Skills & Experience:

• Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, or a clinical discipline is preferred (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MPH, MS).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in conducting SLRs, ideally within health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and/or consultancy.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
• Ability to absorb and synthesize a broad range of information, including clinical and scientific data.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and HEOR.
• Methodological, disciplined, well-organized, and professional approach.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and efficiency in managing large databases of studies and data extraction.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with other senior leaders to make decisions and resolve any conflicts.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills to present information in an engaging, clean, and concise manner.
