The Research Consultant will provide advanced analytical support for assigned consulting projects.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with an integrated team to identify project needs and formulate appropriate solutions to meet the project goals.
  • Perform complex analytical modeling and simulation for assigned projects.
  • Provide regular progress reports and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, tools and technologies.
  • Ensure company and business unit policies, standards, and procedures are met.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.  PhD preferred.
  • 5 years experience in a clinical statistical role
  • Comfortable presenting and interfacing with consultants and clients
  • Strong grammatical/technical-writing, oral communication and presentation skills, excellent use of the English language and nuanced communicator
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial and self-motivated, without the need for significant infrastructure and support, and with an understanding of the dynamics of high-growth companies; the ability to work effectively in a demanding, challenging, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities, strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong scientific background and the ability to identify and understand relevant scientific literature and apply knowledge gained from these sources as needed

Desireable: 

  • Knowledge of and Experience in Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics, Data Visualisations
  • Profeciency in R and/or SAS, and Python
  • Understanding of the biopharmaceutical R&D process

 

This role can be based in Ireland, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain or The Netherlands.
