The LMS Administrator will collaborate with various internal and external learning partners. The working hours are of US time Zone. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support day-to-day administration of LMS through the creation/scheduling of new courses/classes, roster management, and eLearning content testing
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of a knowledge base and supporting documentation regarding administrative access and functions of the LMS
  • Develop training and material for users of the system to review and learn from. This should include both learners and instructors
  • Support other LMS administrators/managers with testing content, enhancements, and general system functionality
  • Own, identify, research, and resolve help desk user questions and issues through a trouble ticket tracking system.
  • Work with other stakeholders around the program roadmap to ensure that courses are delivered into the LMS and made available to learners in a timely manner
  • Establish, implement, and manage training schedules and calendars for technical development/assessment
  • Analyze data and provide documentation & reports to the leadership
  • Undertake and coordinate the overall system administration of the LMS. This may include setting permissions, configurations, producing reports, uploading eLearning materials, monitoring usage, etc.
  • Works with subject matter experts in building training content
  • Troubleshoot issues in LMS and liaise with the LMS provider for updates and troubleshooting
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

 

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Learning Management systems
  • Experience working with and QA testing eLearning content
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-like suites, specifically Excel
  • Experience with process documentation and contributing to system Knowledge Base repositories.
  • Proficiency working in ticket-based workflow systems
  • Experience working with remote teams and use of virtual conference tools
  • Helpdesk experience is highly recommended
  • High attention to detail and quality

 

Recommended Skills:

  • 1-3 years working as a Learning Management System Litoms is preferred
  • HTML experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of SCORM 1.2, 2004 and AICC tracking standards, and ability to troubleshoot course issues
  • Highly proficient in Excel or like spreadsheet tools, experience with advanced formulas and functions (vlookups, Pivot tables, macros)
  • Understand of Agile methodology
